The Vice President of Sustainability Solutions will lead the corporate and commercial sustainability vision, strategy and initiatives across North America. They will develop the long-term vision in alignment with the company direction and create regional strategies to support sustainability goals and generate industry awareness and support for the portfolio and the benefits to people, planet and productivity. This person will also collaborate with the marketing team to evaluate opportunities and develop strategies to create downstream demand based on portfolio fit and grower solutions.
Spell joined the firm as a practice leader in 2021 with decades of agricultural recruiting experience, but he says the increased focus on sustainability in all levels of his field, from technology to culture, has changed the type of skills he’s seeking to fill executive roles.
Charles Aris launched its agriculture recruiting practice in 2022 and has since built out a team to find and place executives into AgTech, agribusiness, supply chain and food production organizations.
It’s increasingly common for leaders in this industry to wear lab coats instead of business attire.
