TJ Deal is a practice leader with a functional focus on Strategy & Corporate Development. He specializes in placing A-level corporate development and M&A talent in the tech, media, telecom and industrial sectors.

Before joining Charles Aris Inc., TJ directed military accounts for Arbor Supply, a brokerage firm that facilitates the distribution of non-food items to the Military Commissaries. There, he enjoyed building lasting professional relationships as a business liaison.

TJ earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he held leadership positions in UNC’s chapter of the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.

TJ enjoys coaching youth basketball, reading and culinary ventures.

2018 Mid-Year Offer Report: During the first half of 2018, Charles Aris coordinated more than 45 offers to strategy consultants. This report includes a sampling of the offers and the subsequent results. Each offer includes five components: title, base salary, equity, annual bonus and sign-on. Also included is the type of entity extending the offer, as well as the consulting firm at which the candidate was employed.
