Q&A with Nikki Clayton: Interning your way to a new career
Nikki Clayton walks us through her decision to change careers and offers advice for those who are looking for a new career path.
Nikki Clayton is a researcher who dedicates her professional time to business research across an array of Charles Aris Executive Search recruiting practices.
Prior to joining Charles Aris, Nikki worked in an academic library as a reference librarian, instructor and archivist. She provided research and reference services to the campus community, taught information literacy sessions, and answered archival inquiries for outside researchers.
Nikki holds a master’s degree in library and information science from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in music education from Westminster College.
Outside of work, Nikki is active in community music ensembles and is on the copyright and legislation committee of the Music Library Association. She likes to travel, attend concerts and spend time with her two cats.
