Our client, a private equity-backed insurance underwriting platform, is seeking an Assistant Controller. This individual will play a key leadership role within a fast-growing platform, partnering closely with the CFO and Chief Accounting Officer to strengthen and scale the finance organization. The position oversees core controllership activities including monthly close, consolidated financial reporting, audits and internal controls across a multi-entity insurance environment. The successful candidate will elevate accounting processes, enhance financial visibility and support forecasting and budgeting while engaging with external stakeholders such as auditors, lenders and investors. A CPA is strongly preferred to support the technical rigor and reporting standards required in a regulated insurance setting. This opportunity is well suited for a hands-on, technically proficient finance leader who thrives in high-growth environments and is motivated to help build a best-in-class accounting function.
