About Michael

Michael Rouillard is a senior associate practice leader who primarily focuses his efforts in the finance and corporate development functions for private equity-backed companies.

Prior to joining Charles Aris, Michael worked as a senior search consultant in the private equity, corporate development and private credit spaces with BrainWorks. Earlier in his career, he held executive search positions at Epic Search Partners and Smith & Wilkinson.

Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in leadership and organizational studies, with a minor in economics, from the University of Southern Maine after serving as a Cavalry Scout in the United States Army with 5-1 CAV at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

Michael enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three children; playing guitar; and walking the beaches of Maine and Florida.
