About Nichole

Nichole Hammond is a senior associate practice leader in the agriculture and food practice at Charles Aris Executive Search.

A South Dakota native, Nichole spent a decade in the Pacific Northwest, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington before returning to the Midwest and entering the agriculture industry.

Before joining Charles Aris, she spent 17 years in the testing, inspection and certification industry, working at SGS and Eurofins. Her experience includes seed and crop testing; feed and food safety auditing; and crop protection testing services.

Nichole has two daughters studying at universities on opposite coasts, with Sophia at Drexel University in Philadelphia and Madelyn at the University of California, San Diego. She spends winter weekends at area ice rinks watching her son, Emmett, play hockey while her husband, Josh, coaches.

In the summer, she plays in an adult kickball league and spends time gardening. She also enjoys reading and running, and she helps manage the business side of the local newspaper she and her husband launched in fall 2025.
