JOB DESCRIPTION

The HR manager oversees day-to-day human resources operations for a service-focused business unit. Responsibilities include employee relations, recruiting, retention, training, coaching, onboarding and offboarding, succession planning, benefits and compensation administration, diversity initiatives, leave management, safety, HRIS administration and broader strategic people initiatives. The role requires at least five years of HR experience, strong knowledge of the repair service industry, expertise in payroll and tax processing, experience with HRIS configuration and the ability to partner closely with leadership while maintaining a visible presence across multiple locations. The HR manager builds trusted relationships, supports performance management, drives employee engagement, manages compensation programs, participates in mergers and acquisitions integration, ensures compliance with employment laws and collaborates on talent planning and organizational development. The position also oversees payroll accuracy, reporting, audits, commissions and general ledger alignment, while identifying process improvements and maintaining strict confidentiality. This hybrid role requires up to 30% travel, regular presence in two office locations, strong communication skills and financial acumen. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
