About Shakira

Shakira is an associate recruiter in the Finance & Corporate Development Practice at Charles Aris Executive Search.

Prior to joining Charles Aris, she worked as a regional recruiter with the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction and as a staffing manager with Randstad. Recruiting across diverse industries has strengthened her ability to identify exceptional talent, build lasting relationships and navigate the unique hiring needs of different organizations.

Shakira earned a bachelor’s of science in sociology with a concentration in human services from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. A Maryland native, she now lives in Greensboro, North Carolina with her dog, Primrose. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering at her church, expressing her creativity through graphic design, playing tennis and planning events for family and friends.
