The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales activities within a designated territory, achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the region, driving a robust sales pipeline, managing opportunities through close and collaborating with partners, distributors and cross-functional teams to support business growth. Responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing sales metrics, conducting customer meetings, developing strategic account plans, coordinating with marketing and product teams and providing technical product support as needed. The role also involves preparing sales forecasts and reports, maintaining accurate CRM records, participating in industry events and staying informed on market trends and competitive dynamics. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field, has a proven track record of achieving sales targets, at least five years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, ONS or DNA research and demonstrates strong communication, negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
