Our client is a ~$2B AUM lower middle-market private equity firm on a strong growth trajectory, primarily focused on niche services, technology and select industrials. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, this newly created Operating Partner role will serve as their right hand, overseeing portfolio operations and value creation across the entire portfolio while also acting as a key liaison between the deal team and firm leadership.
In today’s private equity landscape, true value creation hinges less on financial engineering and more on hands-on operational improvements.
As firms close and deploy new funds, we’ve seen this be a natural time to build or grow private equity portfolio operations teams.
