ABOUT KIM

Kim Shapiro serves as the executive director of Aris Amplify, a contingent-based search vertical of Charles Aris Executive Search specializing in the placement of finance and accounting professionals.

Prior to Aris Amplify, Kim held multiple executive-level roles launching and leading contingent-based search firms and has over 18 years in the search industry placing finance, accounting, HR and operational roles.

Kim spent the first eight years of her career in the accounting field, working with both Fortune 500 and small to mid-sized firms before joining the recruiting industry in 2008.

She earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from East Texas A&M University and her Executive Career Coach certification from The Livingston Center.

Kim has co-hosted multiple podcasts and launched The Executive Movement, an executive networking group in the Dallas, Texas metro area for in-transition executives. She also enjoys public speaking on leadership and women’s initiatives.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys being with family, solo-travel, nature and reading non-fiction from self-development and business to ancient texts and memoirs.
