The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all day‑to‑day quality and production execution activities within a manufacturing environment, serving as the primary operational authority under the Director of Quality Assurance and ensuring operators, inspectors and quality personnel follow all procedures, customer specifications and regulatory requirements. This role develops and maintains inspection plans, oversees First Article Inspections, manages all inspection data, enforces process discipline, resolves floor‑level quality issues and drives corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve accountability. The Quality Manager leads investigations into nonconformance, ensures accurate documentation, monitors data trends, maintains compliance with ISO and customer standards and provides direct oversight of production‑floor quality performance. Success in this position requires strong leadership, decision‑making, analytical skills and the ability to enforce standards consistently, supported by a background in manufacturing quality, proficiency in inspection methods and data systems and the ability to work safely and effectively within a dynamic production environment.
