About Jim
Jim Etling is a senior vice president at Charles Aris Executive Search, focused on recruiting A-Level Chief Financial Officer talent for his private equity clients.
Prior to joining Charles Aris, Jim spent 12 years as the chief financial officer of a global textile machinery manufacturer. As a member of the senior leadership team, he partnered with seven senior managers, playing a key role in directing the company through two management-led buyouts in six years with two private equity partners.
Jim earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting from Indiana University Bloomington.
When not recruiting private equity capable chief financial officers, Jim and his wife Karen are rescuing senior dogs from local animal shelters, bringing those dogs to their small farm to live out their best lives.
