The Cost Accounting Manager is a key financial leader responsible for ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation and COGS reporting while driving cost visibility and operational efficiency across the organization. This role oversees standard cost accuracy; variance analysis; BOM and routing maintenance; margin reporting; scrap and E&O analysis and partners closely with manufacturing, supply chain, sales and plant management to support cost control, process improvement and strategic decision-making. The position also leads ERP cost data governance, annual standard cost roll-ups, physical inventory processes and provides actionable insights that inform planning and margin optimization. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, brings over four years of manufacturing cost accounting experience, has strong ERP and advanced Excel skills and preferably holds a CPA or CMA certification with deep knowledge of GAAP and standard costing principles.
