The Controller will lead all accounting operations, including AR/AP, payroll, general ledger and financial reporting, while preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Canadian GAAP. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow management, banking relationships, tax compliance and coordination with external auditors, while also developing internal controls and financial policies. The Controller will manage and mentor a small finance team, support strategic initiatives such as pricing and cost analysis and partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate holds a CPA designation, has five or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience, strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations, experience with ERP systems and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
