The Controller will serve as a strategic financial leader, overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting and cash management while partnering with leadership to drive performance and scalability. The role includes hands-on management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, the general ledger, fixed assets and the month-end close, along with financial statement preparation, multistate sales tax compliance and adherence to GAAP. The Controller also will implement process improvements and lead ERP initiatives. This role will lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, KPI reporting and financial modeling to support business decisions. In addition, the role will manage and mentor a small team, build strong cross-functional relationships and foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture. The ideal candidate holds a CPA and has more than 10 years of progressive experience in corporate environments. Prior public accounting experience is preferred. The candidate should have strong technical and systems expertise, along with a leadership style that is communicative, supportive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
