Our client is a rapidly growing specialty pharmaceutical organization based out of Los Angeles, California. The company’s government business, which serves the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs, has become its primary growth engine and is expected to increase revenue from approximately $40 million to $70-$100 million over the next three to five years. This Chief of Staff / Head of Strategic Initiatives will serve as the CEO’s right hand and play a pivotal role in building a best-in-class business development engine, as well as the operating infrastructure required to scale the government business. This individual will identify growth opportunities, develop manufacturer / product targeting strategies and lead high-impact strategic and operational initiatives, with a path to becoming COO built in. The ideal candidate will have two to four years of management consulting experience from a strategy consulting firm as well as two to four years of relevant experience in the healthcare / life sciences industry.
