The Strategic Executive will partner with our client in identifying potential proprietary acquisition targets and serve on the due diligence team as appropriate, subsequently assuming a leadership role in the acquired “platform” company as CEO, Chairman or as a board member. This individual will lead the company from a full P&L and balance sheet perspective, create profitable growth opportunities, drive significant equity value and position and lead execution of a successful exit. The ideal candidate will have a clear track record of success in a CEO position within an industrial distribution company, experience with growth via acquisitions and an excellent understanding of the distribution market, along with strong national connections within the pipes, valves and fittings industry or adjacent sectors, including but not limited to: fluid process management and solutions product categories (i.e., instrumentation, fluid power, motion control, liquid handling, filtration and wastewater).
