About Allyson
Allyson Abbas is an associate recruiter specializing in the agriculture industry and focusing on leadership placements across agribusiness, livestock production and rural enterprises. She is passionate about connecting top talent with companies that make a positive impact in the agricultural sector.
Allyson earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science and agricultural business with a focus in sales and marketing from Iowa State University. While at ISU, she was a collegiate athlete on the Iowa State Rodeo Team completing in goat tying and mentoring transfer students with career aspirations.
Her professional experience spans multiple sectors within agriculture, including beef nutrition, agricultural insurance, crop science and social media marketing. This diverse background provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the industry and a strong network across the agricultural landscape.
A south-central Iowa native, Allyson grew up around cattle and performance horses, sparking her lifelong commitment to the industry. In her free time, she enjoys raising livestock, team roping, spontaneous trips and exploring small businesses in rural America.
