Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialty industrial minerals and performance-enhancing products, is seeking a Plant Accountant to lead accounting optimization and operational finance initiatives within its manufacturing environment. This person will be tasked with managing cost accounting and inventory controls, supporting ERP implementation and system enhancements and driving accounting process improvements and financial clean-up projects to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate has strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting, hands-on ERP implementation experience and expertise in inventory management, KPI dashboard development and continuous process improvement initiatives.
