Our client is a leading lower middle-market private equity firm focused on investing in the software sector. The firm is looking to expand its existing value-creation capabilities and seeks to bring on a net-new Associate to focus on operational due diligence pre-acquisition and post-acquisition value-creation initiatives with portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm with direct experience and a passion for enterprise software. Exposure to private equity is strongly preferred, specifically experience in another private equity firm directly or a sponsor-backed portfolio company.
While the IT services industry has retained profitability by providing software systems, SaaS continues to gain traction by selling competing products in a web-based platform.
