The Staff Scientist engages in planning own work and supervising day-to-day activities in the laboratory while working under prescribed procedures (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.). This person will complete increasingly complex work for research and development, CGMP and/or GLP studies and will document and report data in a timely manner according to regulatory guidelines. They will also plan the conduct of a study; monitor study procedures to ensure data accuracy and report quality; conduct analysis and experimentation on substances (for such purposes as product and process development and application); complete quantitative and qualitative analysis; and improve biological and/or analytical methodologies.
