About Ashlee

Ashlee Wagner is a vice president who leads the firm’s private equity fund level and financial services / asset management recruiting practices across private equity, growth equity, venture capital, banking, insurance, wealth/asset management, credit card, payments, fintech, real estate investment clients and hedge funds.

As the head of the private equity fund-level recruiting practice, Ashlee focuses on recruiting current and former top-tier strategy consultants and investment bankers into the portfolio operations, deal-side and internal/fund strategy teams of leading private equity, growth equity and venture capital firms.

Ashlee launched and continues to oversee the financial services and asset management strategy recruiting practice with a focus on placing current and former management consultants from Bain & Company; The Boston Consulting Group; McKinsey & Company; and other top-tier consulting firms into various functional roles at leading financial services and asset management firms. 

Ashlee holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to joining Charles Aris, Ashlee worked for State Farm Insurance with a focus on auto, home, life and health insurance, as well as banking products.

Ashlee and her husband, John, have a passion for enriching the Greensboro community. She is actively involved on the Future Ready Steering Committee, UNCG Bryan School Department of Management Advisory Board and as Chair of the UNCG Bryan School Alumni Association Golf Tournament. Outside of work, they like to check off their bucket list and travel to new countries together with their daughters, Lowina and Elizabeth, and spend time with their dogs, Riley and Nelson.
