Ashlee Wagner (she/her/hers) is a vice president who leads the firm’s Financial Services recruiting practice across banking, insurance, wealth management, credit card, payments, fintech and real estate investment (REIT) clients.
As a leading member of the Strategy & Corporate Development practice, Ashlee primarily focuses on recruiting current and former management consultants from Bain & Company; The Boston Consulting Group; McKinsey & Company; and other top-tier consulting firms, into various functional roles.
Ashlee holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to joining Charles Aris, Ashlee worked for State Farm Insurance with a focus on auto, home, life and health insurance as well as banking products.
Ashlee and her husband, John, have a passion for enriching the Greensboro community and spending time with friends and family. Outside of work, they like to check off their bucket list and travel to new places together with their two children, Lowina and Elizabeth, and spend time with their dogs, Marley and Riley.

2021 Mid-Year Offer Report: During the first half of 2021, Charles Aris coordinated 80 offers to strategy consultants. This report includes a sampling of the offers and the subsequent results. Each offer includes five components: title, base salary, equity, annual bonus and sign-on. This report analyzes the backgrounds and experiences of CSOs (or the seniormost Strategy leaders) across the Fortune 500. We gathered data for this report through a combination of publicly available sources including company websites and LinkedIn, along with live conversations with the Chief Strategy Officers themselves.
